Raising the profile of (ISC)2 in the UK with national media coverage

We are working with (ISC)2 to raise their profile in the UK with national media coverage. Our ongoing remit is to identify ways to translate the complex language of (ISC)2’s work in information assurance into stories that attract national journalists and make them want to write. In the past 12 months AprilSix Proof has generated 17 pieces of national media coverage including BBC Breakfast, Guardian, the FT, The Times, Daily Mail, Evening Standard, and the Daily Telegraph.
An example of one of the many creative campaigns that we have developed is the thought leadership campaign called ‘The Broken Talent Pipeline’. This campaign positioned (ISC)2 at the forefront of the debate over the cyber security skills gap, where only 0.6% of Computer Science graduates are in cybersecurity-related roles. Proof secured full-page features in the Financial Times, the Times, the Telegraph and prominent inclusion in a wide-ranging feature in the Times Higher Education Supplement.
