Government Office for Science sets out the science and engineering capability in government organisations
The Government Office for Science have released their first online directory of science and engineering expertise, developed in partnership with the Departmental Heads of Science and Engineering Profession.
The directory entries are designed to be readily accessible to the non-specialist, contain basic information and signposting ways of finding more detail. This document contains links to websites where further relevant information may be found along with contact details for key staff who may be able to help direct enquiries to the most suitable individual.
The directory includes all the government departments as well as their constituent bodies such as the Met Office, the Environment Agency and the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl)
