New media partnership for Proof 12.09.14

Proof becomes the official media partner of the European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC)

We are excited to announce our official partnership with the ESNC, one of Europe’s major innovation competitions for space applications. The competition encourages Europe’s entrepreneurs, SMEs, and industry to submit their ideas for value-added applications for the downstream satellite positioning and navigation market. This market is ever expanding with a predicted annual growth rate of 11% in the coming years, reaching a value of €244 billion by 2020*. Given our long-standing relationships with the Royal Institute of Navigation, the General Lighthouse Authority and the Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) Research Applications Centre of Excellence, we are delighted to partner with the ESNC in fostering the ideas and innovations in this field.

The competition rewards the grand prize winner with €20,000 and six months of incubation at a regional centre of their choice to help implement their business model. With €1 million worth of prizes, there are opportunities for participants to win cash, business incubation, coaching, patent consulting, prototyping, customer access and marketing support. Proof are proud to support such an innovative and entrepreneurial competition and can’t wait to hear from the winners at the ESNC award ceremony on the 24th October.
