Our next event is a continuation of knowledge and insight from our first cyber-themed roundtable in February. At that discussion called I want to be in the FT: Are you ready for national press coverage? we covered 5 principles for generating national coverage on cyber security. So we figured it would be a nice fit to have Sam Jones, the FT’s Security and Defence Editor, talk at our next event.
We will host attendees at the Charlotte Street Hotel, one of Firmdale’s exclusive individually designed hotels in Central London. The event will begin at 9.30am with breakfast, followed by two short talks covering:
* How to develop a strategy that creates and maintains relationships with national journalists by Richard Moss, Founder, Proof Communication
* Tips for framing a story for high-level media, and the cyber security topics that will be top of the news agenda by Sam Jones, the FT’s Defence & Security Editor
After Richard and Sam speak, we will open the floor to attendees to share challenges and offer solutions under the Chatham House Rule. Then it all wraps up at the convenient time of 10.45am so that attendees can jet off for their other meetings.
This event is free but spaces are limited. If interested, please contact me at Jennifer@proofcommunication.com or on (0)7944 792 859.
